The Problem
A Hartford, CT, government agency was tasked with finding an energy- and cost-efficient IT infrastructure solution that could support for the city’s workforce of roughly 5,500 employees, and their 8,000 PCs in nearly 100 locations.
The Solution
A NetApp Certified Specialist, EGI was able to deploy a production environment for Hartford's server virtualization initiative, providing simplicity, flexibility, and a space savings of over 50% for low impact support virtual desktops.

The Problem
A public school system in the Lower Naugatuck Valley region required that its end user desktops be moved from their current location to a new spot on school premises.
The Solution
Ergonomic Group's white-glove logistics services efficiently migrated the desktop devices to their new location, quickly and carefully getting students back online.

The Problem
A Fairfield County school district's board of education had the goal of strategically reducing operational costs while also increasing data security.
The Solution
Ergonomic Group will assess, design, and implement a new core Windows and VDI solution—designed around HP, Cisco, Microsoft, and VMWare solutions—to keep costs low and security high for students, faculty, and staff.

The Problem
A Connecticut governmental department needed to reduce cost and complexity by replacing existing desktops with a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI); however, budget, timeline, and customer resources were all limited.
The Solution
EGI provided an in-depth project manager to deliver and deploy VDI clients at various sites around CT while continuously monitoring costs along the way. EGI removed legacy systems, updated asset management, and destroyed all sensitive information.

The Problem
A mid-sized community college in Waterbury, CT, began experiencing complications due to its current networking environment and required a full virtual network redesign and implementation project.
The Solution
EGI redesigned the community college’s virtual infrastructure and implemented a new, robust Cisco network and VMware virtual environment, resulting in a fully configured metropolitan area cluster to connect students and professors.

The Problem
When new construction began for a Fairfield County school, it needed to expand its Cisco Meraki solution in order to accommodate the added learning space.
The Solution
Ergonomic Group designed and installed 64 new and existing Meraki wireless access points at the site of the school's new construction.

The Problem
A police department in Litchfield County required a robust, reliable VPN security device.
The Solution
Ergonomic Group installed and configured an appropriate VPN device to effectively secure all police data.

The Problem
In Tolland County, one town requested an external penetration test to highlight any vulnerabilities in its network security that needed to be addressed.
The Solution
Ergonomic Group delivered a full assessment report based on a simulation that imitated an actual external attacker exploiting vulnerabilities in the town's network security.
